Eric Washington is a Licensed Professional Counselor who serves individuals, groups, couples, and families. Eric discharged from the Army in 2009, went on to graduate from Texas A&M San Antonio in 2013 and received his Master’s of Art degree in Community Mental Health Counseling. Eric has served clients in a variety of settings such as Community Mental Health, Schools, Residential Treatment, Psychiatric Hospital, and In-home. Eric has been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care. Eric utilizes integrated techniques to meet clients where they are to facilitate growth and goal attainment. Eric has a strong interest in the rapport building process and how it promotes positive outcomes in clients. Eric is experienced in working with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, and has a focused interested in symptoms related to Depression, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia. Eric is pursuing a Ph D. at St. Mary’s University and believes counseling is an art, not a one size fits all model.
